I hate myself for resorting to "Keeping Up" with friends via popular networking sites such as bookface. Mostly, I hate that fashion that I do so, with a stale ala cart "hows everything?"
I guess the hope is that my circle of friends are articulate enough to sum up their lives in 140 characters or less... or have the time to do so, or want everyone in their/our network to see what sort of dramas are in fact plaguing them. Why is it, that we ask questions we don't want the answers to? Think about that last time someone asked you"How are you?" Your reply was probably something like "Fine and you?" Regardless, it was almost certainly a "reflex" reply and thats ok, because thats all that matters, all that matters to anyone, is going through the motions...
Anyhow, my point isn't to be so nihilistic, I just want YOU to know, that when I ask you "How you are?" I really do intend to get a little more that a flabby "Ok".
